By category 4: - to conduct the process of cold rolling of strips, sheets, strips from non-ferrous and precious metals and alloys on two- and six-roll mills; - to conduct the process of rolling strips, sheets, strips of non-ferrous and precious metals and alloys on multi-stand, four- and multi-roll rolling mills; - to roll strips from light alloys on single-stand reversible four-roll mills; - preparation and finishing rolling of strips, sheets, strips from heavy non-ferrous metals and alloys; - carry out foil rolling on four- and multi-roll mills and in a double form under the guidance of a more highly qualified roller; - loading the rolling mill, control the transferring, transporting and correctly setting mechanisms from the control panel; - to regulate the tension of the tape, rolling speed, winding on the drum of rolled products; - measure the thickness of rolled products; - participate in the adjustment and repair of the mill. In addition to the specified requirements for skills for the corresponding 4th category, a cold metal roller of the 5th category must additionally be able to: - to conduct the process of rolling strips, sheets, strips of non-ferrous and precious metals and alloys on multi-stand, four- and multi-roll rolling mills; - to roll strips from light alloys on single-stand reversible four-roll mills; - preparation and finishing rolling of strips, sheets, strips made of heavy non-ferrous metals and alloys; - foil rolling on four- and multi-roll mills and in double form; - to conduct the process of strip rolling on automated multi-stand and multi-roll rolling mills and rolling of titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, zirconium alloys under the guidance of a more highly qualified roller; - to carry out finishing rolling of special-purpose sheets; - maintain transfer conveyors, stackers, hydraulic pushers, flying micrometers and other measuring instruments; - control push and pull mechanisms. In addition to the specified requirements for skills for the corresponding 5th category, a cold metal roller of the 6th category must additionally be able to: - to conduct the process of rolling strips on multi-stand and multi-roll automated rolling mills and rolling of titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, zirconium alloys; - to roll the foil in double form with simultaneous doubling; - Mill control and adjustment.

In addition to the specified knowledge requirements for the corresponding 4th category, a cold metal roller of the 5th category must additionally know: - design of serviced rolling mills of various types; - operating rules for rolling mills and rolls; - main characteristics of electric motors; - rules for the use of control and measuring instruments and devices; - basics of physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanics; - types, properties and quality of applied technical lubricants and emulsions. In addition to the specified knowledge requirements for the corresponding 5th category, a cold metal roller of the 6th category must additionally know: - design and kinematic diagrams of automated multi-stand and multi-roll mills; - fundamentals of roll calibration, roll tolerances; - arrangement and interaction of all units of the mill; - automatic control of the serviced mill. In addition to the specified knowledge requirements for the relevant categories, the cold metal roller of the 4th, 5th and 6th categories must know: - work instructions; - labor regulations of UMP JSC; - requirements of regulations in force at UMP JSC on industrial safety, safety and labor protection, industrial sanitation, fire safety and environmental protection; - management policy of UMP JSC; - the policy of the management of UMP JSC in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency; - the management policy of UMP JSC on the provision of tantalum raw materials; - basics of labor legislation; - fundamentals of the economics of production; - requirements of the quality management system, health and safety, energy management, environmental protection.
